Welcome back! I have made it home. June was a month of travel. I love to travel and I loved it all, but I must say it will be good to be at home for awhile.
This past weekend my husband and I visited our kids in New York City. We arrived in Jersey City and were waiting at The Path to catch a ride into New York City and our son-in-law Drake came walking up to us. There were several other places he could have gotten on the train and we never would have seen him. The timing of it was perfect. We had only been in the city for an hour when we met him. It was such a surprise that I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me. So he welcomed us and rode into the city with us.
Next we got to meet up with our son, Caleb at the place where he works in Manhattan. We had not seen him since Christmas. It was a joy to see his face.
Ashli, our daughter got to meet us for coffee later in the afternoon. By then Drake had returned from his appointment and shared our coffee time. I had a fabulous latte!
It was a fine reunion and a very special time. I love seeing my kids. There are so many ways to communicate these days, but there is nothing like seeing your child's face, and giving them hugs.
Great things are happening in all of their lives. It has given me joy beyond words.

Welcome home, cheri! I celebrate with you the joy of a sweet visit with your children! I cannot imagine! My boys are nine and eleven and are so very much with me always! Imagining visits with them when they are older is making me appreciate this time all the more.
I wanted to let you know that we had our first prayer meeting at church yesterday. I shared your words with the other women and the psalm you gave me. It was a very moving meeting and I felt God's power in our midst. I am so excited to see what He does!Still much work to be done...

Laura, I am so excited! The Lord is going to use this burden you have for your church! You must be an intercessor. That is not always an easy position to hold because we often identify with the Lord's burden for situations and circumstances. It is an awesome thing to see Him work through the circumstances to bring about new life. I expect great things are just around the corner! Make haste, O Lord! Make haste!
So glad you had such a happy time with family. I can't imagine being separated from my one and only son. Your times together must be so precious. Thanking God for the reunion He gave you all.

I do love being with my kids! Whenever I have to part from them I begin to count the days until we can reunite. My children have been a great delight to me. I am so thankful!
